After the new truck was paid for, the remaining funds will be used for additional fire dept. equipment and a nest egg to build on for future growth !!!!!!

Every contribution from just pennies to thousands of dollars, was indeed of great value.
This campaign has been a long, and sometimes very challenging one, but most of all a very rewarding
one.
We received a very large contribution from the Vermillion County Community Foundation and Lilly Endowment, which put us over the top. The new fire truck will soon be delivered, and the whole community will be better for it. You should also note that no additional tax burden was or will be placed on any resident; the entire cost of the new fire truck has been achieved by the combined efforts of the Fairview Citizens Society for Fire Protection, and the entire community.
